Ohio Medical Marijuana Card
The Ohio Medical Board has approved the use of medical marijuana to help treat and alleviate the symptoms associated with a variety of medical conditions and ailments. In total, there are currently 22 conditions eligible for treatment with medical marijuana, but there is the possibility of new conditions being added in the future. Every year there is a petition period to request the addition of new qualifying medical conditions. We’re hopeful that new conditions, such as anxiety, will be added sometime in 2020.
Here is the current list of the qualifying conditions:
- Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)
- Alzheimer’s Disease
- Cachexia, wasting syndrome
- Chronic Pain
- Crohn’s Diseasev
- Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE)v
- Epilepsy (seizures)v
